Finally, the big day came, and it was a success. Lots of fun was had by all, not the least of whom was daddy. The events included a Joust, Bow and Arrow target competition, and Tug-of-War. Gabe's castle cake was pretty yummy, if I do say so myself :-). Our princesses made some beautiful hats, and the boys all designed their own shields. Thanks to all the parents for helping with the shield prep and other crafts. Our feast was simple fare (rotisserie chicken, requested by Sir Gabriel) and french fries with some fresh veggies and dip. The knights and princesses ate in a circle around the "fire". And the Knight of honor is now prepared to open his own Lego store :-). Of course, he doesn't want to part with anything, so nevermind!
Enjoy the pics!

Look at Rob sporting a new facial do - so cool! And he looks like he's having as much fun as the kids are. :)
