They are so stinking cute. Check out the HILARIOUS expression I managed to capture from Daniel. I think he was a bit in his own world acting out a play at first. At one point he was so locked in, prepared, etc.., he ran to cover home plate when the ball was hit out--leaving first base uncovered. He justified it very proudly, saying it was more important to stop the run, basically. What a piece of work.

Yes, Daniel got the girl out (handily). And the snap of the boy you don't recognize I just took so I could title it "There's no crying in Baseball!!" Of course, this is T-ball, and I've seen my fair share of crying there.
Poor Daniel is already fed up with T-ball, since they don't keep score "and I really care about the score!"
he is so completely hilarious. Dizzying, really. We've taken to referring to it as a tornado in his brain. He has proudly adopted this description of the whirlwind he lives in. Lest he get a complex, I told him its cuz he's so smart, and there's too much stuff spinning around up there. I fear that's the truth. It sounds cute and clever, but I have to train (and clean up after) said tornado. Thank the Lord he's so cute (and really quite sweet most times).
Gabe was SO Mr. Hustle, whole game. Very serious, very focused, very adorable. The first picture of him was just before he got his hit--off the first pitch. you can see the ball coming in. The next picture is after he left third base to score. Unfortunately he did get out his next three at-bats, but only one was on strikes. And he didn't mind. He just had a lot of fun playing. It was definitely a step up from T-ball.
