Random Pics Worth Sharing

Now, if you're seeing this picture, it is probably because Rob hasn't yet checked the blog. How could I resist? Below that, Crazy Gabeo. Joel-y playing ball with Grandpa, a favorite pasttime for both of them. And then, just Joel, being handsome.

Here is Micah, reluctantly enjoying an imposed quiet time on the couch. couldn't resist the photo op. The next 2 are Gabe's soccer party. His coaches presented each kid with a certificate telling why they were exceptional. Gabe was awarded for his excellent play in midfield, for his kindness, and for having the longest shoelaces ever! Coach Kenji told a story of helping Gabe to tie his shoes during a game and Gabe saying "these are the most riDICULOUSLY long shoe laces EVER!" That's what Gabe is laughing about in the second picture. The last picture is the perfect representation of Daniel's soccer season. He gave it his ALL. usually his knees were full of dirt before the game ever started. I think his face is in the dictionary next to the word "Passion." And a few other words...but we won't go there today.

These are the best I got from the Harvest Party. Its the first time we've gone in probably 5 years. Unfortunately Gabe had soccer practice beforehand, and both Gabe and Rob didn't even consider missing (it WAS the last practice of the year...). So we got the little boys dressed beforehand and went to practice. Much to Daniel's delight, they were just having a scrimmage game, with coaches and siblings--so Superman got to play. I THINK I got the knees of the costume clean, but not without some work... Unfortunatly, I don't have a front shot of Sir Gabriel. kills me, as he was really dashing. not sure why, but chasing after four kids in a madhouse of games, mazes, contests, etc...--I just couldn't focus on photography! The kids had fun, and didn't realize they'd missed most of the party due to soccer...

For no reason other than that they're so stinking cute.
