Andrea, this one's for you--and really for me, as I SO wanted to make my personal goal to post before the end of the week. I didn't, but this one will be a teaser and an "almost" in my mind. Maybe I'll finish tomorrow. But I REALLY want to try and wake up early tomorrow (before children) and start my new Bible Study --a Beth Moore study on Esther. (Very little motivates me to get up early, but I honestly LOVE doing Beth Moore Bible studies. ) So to do that, I must go to bed. NOW.
And I'm really not trying to sound so holy getting up before kids to study my bible :-). To be honest, I had a VERY rough week last week, mainly just parenting and homeschooling struggles, and I was feeling very much in need of some pouring-in. So I started the study last Thursday (I DID have my husband's blessing, tho I abandoned him on our 14th wedding anniversary--official date night celebration still ahead...). I'm so glad I did (the study, not the abandoning!). I left that night feeling refreshed and excited for the 9 week course, videos each week, and 5 days of homework which will get me digging in the word for myself. I'm feeling pretty dry at the moment. Needing some living water...

Thanks for the picture Leah and a very cute picture of a very cute little boy! I love the messy face pictures, they are some of my favorite . Don't feel guilty, I won't even consider a blog becasue I know I wouldn't be able to find the time to maintain it, so hats off to you for even getting one picture up this weekend!
Sorry you had a rough week, I have a feeling this will be a bad one for me although it is only Monday. I am sensing a motivational issue for them and a short fuse for myself (never a good combinbation). Oh the joys of Homeschooling!
The bible study sounds great, I don't know what I would do without my small group. Hope you enjoy it and it feeds your soul.
Love ya
So, so cute!
I'd love to hear how you like the Esther study. We did Beth Moore's Daniel study at church, and it was fabulous. You know, she's going to be in Portland in April.
Cindy
Beth Moore Study's are great....even Mari (a college freshman) LOVES them...our church is doing Daniel right now (I am not doing it) and I have only heard good things about it. Mari and I might do it this summer. LOVED the pictures of the Joel's party...I cannot believe he is already 1.
